Place 1: MOSOLF SE & Co. KG, Kirchheim unter Teck: 435 million Euro turnover (2019)
In the country of automotive engineering, automotive logistics is particularly important. MOSOLF SE & Co. KG has consistently focused on this since its foundation in 1955. With its own fleet of 1000 trucks, 350 special wagons and two RoRo inland waterway vessels, the company carries out vehicle transports throughout Europe. Simon Hegele started his transport business with a horse and cart in 1920. Today, Simon Hegele employs 2,500 people and the company is represented at 50 locations around the globe. Comprehensive logistics and service solutions are the performance promise of the Karlsruhe-based company. This includes procurement, production, spare parts and packaging logistics as well as numerous value-added services. Transports of all kinds play a key role in this. The company is still owned by the Hegele family.
