The list is led by internationally known core suppliers of the German automotive industry:

- ZF Friedrichshafen AG (Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg) – € 46,627 million (+€ 2,826 million)

At the city level, Munich (10 companies) and Stuttgart (7) stand out; followed by Nuremberg (6), Berlin (6), Leverkusen (4), and Wuppertal (4).
