Property investor in Halle – Polis acquires office and commercial building

Two potential major tenants are applying for the use

This may also have been the motive for the recent purchase of the Technical City Hall in Halle. It is an office and commercial building in a central location not far from Halle’s old town. The office space in the building, which was constructed in 1968, has been used by the city of Halle up to now. On the ground floor, the Technical City Hall also offers retail and storage space – about 15 percent of the total rental space of 9,300 square meters. The city intends to give up its lease, probably by the end of the year. There is already interest on the part of two major potential successor tenants. Who will be awarded the contract has not yet been determined. The buyer of the property is Polis Immobilien AG. The company, which was founded in Berlin in 1998, invests in office properties – primarily for its own portfolio, if necessary after modernisation or revitalisation. One investment focus is on properties in inner-city locations with modern facilities and a stable cash flow.
