La Française Real Estate Managers (REM) has made a strategic investment in Nice. The focus of this acquisition is a retail property on the renowned “Place Masséna”, one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares. The investment volume amounts to around €9M. At the beginning of October, La Francaise was already active in the retail sector with the acquisition of a property in La Sentinelle. Founded in 1975, the investment manager has over €49 billion under management as of 2023.
Characteristics of the retail property
The property is characterized by its proximity to public transport and its location under the characteristic arcades of the square. Another outstanding feature of the property is its impressive 14-meter-high facade. The modern, LED-lit sales rooms are spread over a total of 868 m² and extend over three levels: Basement, first floor, and second floor.
Rental to Roche Bobois
The entire retail space has been rented to the Roche Bobois Group. This company is known for its commitment to the design and distribution of modern furniture and will run another store in this property.
