Bremen-based, family-owned hydraulics specialist
HANSA-FLEX started in 1964 as a one-man operation in Achim, just outside Bremen. Just one year later, the company headquarters was relocated to the nearby Hanseatic city. By 1990, the company had grown to 250 employees. From the 1990s onwards, the company pursued a policy of consistent internationalisation. This is how HANSA-FLEX developed to its current size. The company operates exclusively B2B business and sells its customers around 100,000 different articles relating to hydraulics and hose technology. Related services are also offered. Important customers are the mechanical engineering, automotive, plant engineering and construction industries. Although organised as a public limited company, HANSA-FLEX is not listed on the stock exchange. The shares are held exclusively by the two founding families, who also manage the business.Source: Listenchampion Picture source: Unsplash
