Logistics assets contribute a substantial amount towards all of the real estate investments across France, the three companies included in this list are amongst the biggest players in French logistics investments. 1) Altarea (Paris, France)

Altarea is headquartered in Paris and is active in retail, housing, and commercial real estate assets. The French group owns and develops assets across 12 of the largest French cities. In 2022, the firm announced the acquisition of a logistics site in Bollene which totals 260,000sqmt spread across 5 warehouses which will be finalized later this year.

2) Braxton Asset Management (Paris, France)

Based in Paris, Braxton is an investment and asset management firm that seeks high-yield real estate investments. Currently, the group manages over €450m of assets which include logistics, offices, co-living, residential, and social investments. The firm plans to launch a third logistics fund having raised €30m of private equity. Braxton’s new fund follows the first two logistics funds (Braxton Logistics 1 and 2) that plans to develop a new portfolio of logistics and industrial assets with an aim of acquiring €150m of assets over the next 24 months.

3) AXA Investment Managers (Puteaux, France)

AXA Investment Manager is part of the AXA Group which seeks sustainable and long-term investments for its clients. The group has been operating for over 30 years and is comprised of over 470 staff located across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. AXA has €89bn of real estate equity under management consisting of listed and unlisted real estate assets. Its approach to logistics investment is based on 3 core pillars: portfolio diversity, active management, and on-the-ground expertise. Their logistics portfolio consists of over €3bn of assets and 139 projects. In July 2022, the group announced an acquisition of a 58,00sqmt warehouse in Barcelona, Spain which offers good long-term value due to its location and transport connections.
