In this article, we interviewed huboo, a software-driven E-Commerce and Storage Startup based in Bristol.
RG: Briefly describe: what is your company doing?
Huboo: Huboo was originally launched in 2017 to help start-ups and SME businesses get their products to customers quickly and cost-effectively. Huboo today makes a comprehensive, software driven fulfillment service accessible to all sizes of business across the UK, with plans to expand its scalable model into Europe and the US.
RG: Where is the benefit for the customers; what’s your USP in comparison to competitors?
Huboo: The Huboo service offers innovative custom-built technology which includes a full WMS, a one-stop dashboard for customers to set up, monitor orders, stock inventory, and live tracking of product deliveries.
Huboo’s core operational technology integrates with popular sales channels and marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay and Shopify, to directly receive and process orders in real time. Huboo’s warehousing and fulfillment service includes automated inventory management, storage, picking, packing and postage of items as they are sold, enabling businesses of all shapes and sizes to be competitive in today’s fast-paced retail environment.
Our pricing is transparent and unbeatable and listed on the website unlike many other fulfilment services. Our Hub model is also unique where each customer gets their own Hub Manager looking after their products and a direct contact.
RG: Is the German market relevant for you? If yes, how would you approach the German market?
Huboo: Huboo already has a few German customers fulfilling orders through our headquarters and warehousing operations in Bristol, UK. In 2021, post Brexit, Huboo plans to also expand into Germany for domestic and EU fulfilment options to existing and new customers.
