After a long listing on the DAX, thyssenkrupp became an MDAX company in 2019. The administrator of the Krupp heritage, the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation, holds almost 21 percent of the Group’s shares, the second largest stockholder with a good 15 percent is a Swedish investment company. The remaining shares are mainly in free float.
