The Swiss real estate is considered stable and offers inflation protection, all of the investment managers included are active in their home country and across the globe. All of the firms included in this research can be found on our database of the largest real estate investors active in Switzerland.

1) SwissLife Asset Manager (Zurich, Switzerland)

With over 165 years of experience aiding clients to achieve their investment goals, the Swiss asset manager is one of the leading European investment groups. SwissLife operates in offices located in Switzerland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, and the Nordics. The Swiss group has launched high-yield funds for private and institutional investors which targets acquisitions in commercial, residential and health care. In April 2023, the firm acquired a 7,200sqmt office property in Paris which is part of a joint venture with MAPFRE who together have invested €500m since the launch of their co-investment fund in 2018.

2) Pensimo (Zurich, Switzerland)

Pensimo invests in promising real estate ventures on behalf of four investment foundations located in Switzerland and abroad. The Swiss group launched its own real estate fund in 2006, named Swissinvest Real Estate Fund which is listed on six stock exchanges. The fund focuses on non-cyclical, medium-sized residential projects mainly but also seeks commercial properties, however, to a lesser extent. The group mainly targets properties in Zurich and Basel due to its location and strong economical position.

3) Pictet (Geneva, Switzerland)

The Swiss investment group offers a host of financial services including wealth and asset management. Founded in 1805, the group has developed a portfolio with over CHF 612bn in management. Pictet is headquartered in Geneva and also operates across 30 offices located in Europe, Asia, and North America. The firm has launched several funds which are managed in-house to ensure standards and compliance with their risk are met.
