Place 1: Adecco Group AG: 20.9 billion euros in sales

The Adecco Group is a Zurich-Seefeld-based, internationally active personnel services provider. In 1996, the Swiss company Adia Interim and the French company Ecco merged: Adecco was born! In the years that followed, Adecco grew strongly through acquisitions and organic growth. Today, the group employs a good 30,000 of its own staff, as well as around one million temporary workers.
