For the right sound – Speakers without cables
The start-up Soundboks was founded in 2015 by three school friends in Copenhagen. The young Danish company has focused entirely on wireless, portable performance loudspeakers. Soundboks manufactures these itself and sells them through its own online shop. The products are sold worldwide. Meanwhile, more than 40,000 customers in more than 40 countries around the globe have been convinced by Soundboks loudspeakers. These include private individuals as well as professional event organizers.
Soundboks has now raised additional capital in a Series A financing round to enable further growth. The round is led by Danish venture capital investor Heartcore Capital. M-Venture GmbH from Wolfenbüttel is one of the participants. M-Venture is itself a young company and has only been in existence since 2018 as a subsidiary of Mast-Jägermeister SE, the manufacturer of the world-famous herbal liqueur. In the short time of its existence, M-Venture has already invested in eight start-ups. Soundboks is the latest coup. They are almost exclusively business models around party life, nightlife, events and leisure activities. Soundboks fits in seamlessly here.
